 What is Triad?

Triad is a high-performance sulfonylurea herbicide containing 500g/kg tribenuron-methyl for chickweed control in spring barley (undersown with grass) and grassland.

NON-CLOVER GRASS LEYS

Application Rate: 10g per hectare (depends on target weed and crop)

Maximum number of applications:

Grassland: One per year from 3 leaves of the grass and 3 trifoliate leaves in clover leys
Spring Barley: One per crop (crop GS 13-39)

Timing:
Spring Barley: Do not apply before the end of February in the year of harvest. Apply to spring barley from the three-leaf stage (GS 13) up to and including the flag leaf fully emerged (GS 39).
Grassland: Applications to grassland may be applied from three-leaf stage (GS 13) between 1st March and 31st October, with no more than one application per calendar year. Do not cut or graze within 28 days of treatment. For follow crop restrictions refer to the product label

GRASS LEYS SOWN WITH CLOVER

Triad™ SX® is safe on red and white clover and may be used in new grass leys sown with clover and where clover is included in undersown spring barley. Clovers in a sward may be checked following treatment but will recover. Apply Triad™ SX® from three leaves of the grass and once clover has reached three trifoliate leaves. In a change from the previous tablet formulation Triad™ SX® has been reformulated into FMC SX technology which is easy to use and allows a faster and safer washout procedure for sprayer operators.

When applying Triad™ SX®, best results are achieved when weeds are small
and actively growing.

High diurnal temperature ranges
Drought
Waterlogged soils
Frost
