Stock Description: A really nice group of spring calving heifers. These heifers are coming from a herd that is 10 plus years clear of TB. The farmer is giving a large pick of the group where he will show 30 plus animals for a farmer to pick 20. The heifers are Br/Fr or Nz Fr type black and white animals. They are in calf to Ai Fr and AA and calving Summer. The heifers are springing up well. The average EBI of the group is 260 and the PTA's read 4.8% fat and 3.9% protein as an average of the group.
Production Capacity: This herd is mainly grass based throughout the year with feed intake sitting around the 600-750kg of meal depending on the year. The herd performs very well and with its small frame type cow walking long distances isn't an issue here.
