Stock Description: A lovely group of Pedigree registered Jersey heifers. All freshly calved within the last month and just getting going and milking very well. They are very correct stylish heifers that will go on and perform and will mature into decent strong cows. They are only for sale as a genuine surplus.
Production Capacity: The cattle are fed maize and grass silage and parlour concentrates on a simple system that achieves great volumes and milk solids. They graze in the Spring and Summer months. The cattle are bred from mostly North American and United Kingdom jersey AI sires.
Age & Lactation: 2 Years
TB Status: TB1 area, never had tb on this holding and in a good area.
Health Status: The herd is closed and has been for over 10 years. No vaccinations are undertaken. Health monitoring is under taken with no issues. The herd is milk recorded and there are no issues with scc with this group and they are all milking on all 4 quarters. The herd is Johnes monitored through quarterly milk testing with no issues. These cattle are presently located in the blue tongue virus zone and can be premovement tested to move out of the area.
